I'm very discouraged right now and I feel like I'm so fat even at my weight. I'm 5'5, 132lbs. One would think that was a pretty low weight for someone my height, least I do. I thought I would be thinner when I got here, but I'm not. I'm really beginning to wonder if this belly is going to go away. When I started this, my belly was the biggest part about me & 53lbs later, it still is. Is there anyone else at a low weight for their height that have bellies still? If you show me pictures, I would b really appreciative. I just wanna see other people like me.
This was almost in the beginning. I was 175lbs and I had lost 10lbs. I didn't take pic in the VERY beginning. But you can see my belly was the biggest part. And I've never even had a baby before.
This is me now. 132lbs & belly still big.
Again, if anyone else is like this, I would love to see pics to kno I'm not alone. I really get down ab myself on this all the time.
I just wanna add that I exercise. I've done Turbo Jam, Fat Burning Elite and Turbo Fire. Right now I'm doing Chalene Extreme (weight lifting). I lift heavy 3 times a week, do abs twice a week and cardio twice a week right now.

To me that looks mostly like extra skin which, as we all know, can only truly be taken care of one way, which is surgically. Time does help a bit, but if you want it all gone, you'll have to go under the knife. I have had two kids, and I can't wait til I'm done having kids and I have the money to get a tummy tuck.0

I wish I could post a recent pic but YES I'm in the same boat! But I did have a baby march of 2011 I was 183 when I got home from hospital, now at 126 my belly and live handles make a spare tire sort of look! It's gross... I'm between 5'.4 and 5.5 as well. I started doing cardio a few days ago because I wasn't exercising prior to that. I seekers out advice and most of it was: lift weights, run, keep eating low cal and eating CLEAN and it will will eventually (hopefully) come off. By the way you are doing awesome and you look great so great job and keep it up! It will happen0

I do have a little loose skin on the bottom side over some fat, cuz I can pull at it a bit. But I don't think my whole belly is loose skin. It's firm from my belly button up. Most of it is fat.0 -

You are right. It is stubborn subcutaneous belly fat under the skin that is causing the issue. You are on the right track. Just keep on doing what you have started doing (particularly the resistance training three times a week) along with a small calorie deficit to slowly take of the last few pounds and I'm sure things will improve considerably.
Congratulations on the weight loss so far. Looking at your before and after pictures, you look amazing. You have come a long way. You just have a little further to go. Now you just have to be a little more patient and work on the weight training to improve your body composition as you lose the last few pounds.0 -

My stomach was very similar to yours when I was around 140, I think. I don't have a picture because I was too self-conscious to take one. I wish I would have now, but my belly was the last to go! I still have a little bit of loose skin, but it's firming up more with time.
Here's a pic of me before I started Jillian Michael's 30DS. I only have a front shot, but you can tell that my tummy is still round.
And here I am after doing 30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30, and I'm currently on 6 Week 6 Pack. (123 lbs)
Just keep exercising and eating right and I think you'll get the results you're looking for. I definitely don't think it's time to consider surgery or anything like that. Don't get discouraged!0 -

I'm 5'6, 139lbs, and have the same problem: Stick thin arms and legs but a huge gut and a fat bottom. I've previously weighed as little as 126lbs and still didn't have a flat tummy. My goal is to get back down to 126lbs and then just keep exercising to try and fix my figure. I fear I may have to drop as low as 120lbs in order to flatten my tummy0

I would up the cardio and lower the calories. They also say that stress lives in the belly an rears its ugly head in the form of fat.
Try to get a good amount of sleep also.0
