Iid be interested in hearing people's views on the pros and cons of each. Going to combine one if them with C25k

    different programs really so the pros and cons will depend on your goals.

    NROL4W is a heavy lifting program where you are encouraged to increase your weight or variation with every workout. for instance if you squat 50 pounds one workout, the next workout try for 55, etc. NROL4W is more about building strength (this is defined by the number of reps per set)

    chalean is more for endurance so you're going to be lifting less weight for more reps.

    i'm more of a lift really heavy things for 3-5 reps kinda girl than the endurance stuff, so i stick with nrol4w, stronglifts and starting strength.

    I think the previous poster basically covered it. I'm biased because I'm doing NROLW, but I think its entirely dependent on what your goal is.
    Do you want the strength or the endurance? Thats a question only you can answer :smile:

    I suppose I want to look more toned and to generally feel healthier. Would CE be better for that?

    This is an inaccurate description. CE is all about lifting as heavy as possible with few reps.

    I've seen really awesome results with NROL4W, but I haven't tried to other one.
