I just started one week ago. I am feeling good and losing weight by sticking to 1200 calories a day diet. I do need to excersize more and find some great friends to challenge me and keep me on track. Anybody want to be my friend?

    I think you would get more friends by trying out what mfp recommends for your daily calorie target. 1200 seems a tad low.

    I can't speak for the OP, but MFP recommends 1200 calories for me so you shouldn't assume she is not following the plan as recommended.
