I would like to hear from the women here who are over 60 years old and are really exercising. I don't mean walking their dog around the block, gardening, cleaning house, cooking, etc. And, I am not saying that these things are bad. But, I mean really working out hard. Where your heart rate goes to at least 80% of max. I am doing this and am finding it hard to find others who are also doing this.

I am trying to get into exercise, and find I have made it to the gym about three times a week the past two months. Sometime more, sometimes less. Trying to get into the habit. But when I am there, I feel I work out hard. I am usually there about 1 hr 45 minutes to two hours. First thirty I do cardio. I am increasing my time on the treadmill slowly, but feeling more energy every time I work out. I am lifting weights, and attempting to learn the correct way to do the lifting. I have bat wings I would love to see disapear, and my legs need a lot of work, as I have two new knees. I want to firm up everywhere. How long have you been working out?

Curious...how hard of a workout does Curves give you? Are there personal trainers or are you on your own.

YoYo...be sure to see your doctor before doing any exercises and follow that advice. You don't want to mess up your knees.

Is there anyone who uses a HRM and is really sure as to how hard they are exercising?
