BMR: Determines the minimum calories per day to keep you alive normally. If you were in a coma, this is what you'd need. FInd it here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/tools/bmr-calculator
TDEE: This is the calories you need to maintain your weight in a day. It is your BMR plus daily activities like just being out of bed. You can find it here: http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html
The goal is to find your TDEE and then subtract 20%. So, TDDE x 0.80 will give you the number of calories you should shoot for in a day for weight loss. Try not to go under your BMR, as doing that for long periods can result in "Skinny Fat" and/or weight loss stalling.0
