Been here about a month, figured It's time to say hi.

Hi everyone,

I've been here about 35 days and doing well. So far I've lost 30 lbs by just watching my calories and eating correct portions. I still have about another 110 to go, but it will come off as long as I stick with it. I am trying to watch my carbs as well, and not eat many of them but I find that pretty difficult and expensive. I walk and lift which equals out to about 7 workouts a week, so I feel I am doing good so far!

Anyone have any food suggestions for for a newcomer to weight loss on how to eat more healthy, watch carbs and not spend a fortune? lol

One of the greatest words of advice I could give is eat small and eat often. I consume a lot of Clif bars, Larabars, Balance bars, and various other small, easy to eat on the go kind of foods. High protein, high fiber, and the right kinds of fat are very helpful to the process.
