Okay, I turn 23 this Saturday (I know, birthdays stopped having meaning 2 years ago) but I'll be eating out most of the weekend. I'm going out with my boyfriend to a restaurant that has healthy food so I'll be fine there. It's when I go out to Carabba's with my family on Sunday and eat chocolate peanut butter pie afterwards (mom's making that instead of cake, sounds tasty). I'm considering eating bare bones Sunday for breakfast and lunch so I won't feel bad at Carabba's. I'm not super familiar with their menu (I was only there once), does anyone know if they have healthier options? They don't post any of their nutrition online. I know not to eat the basket bread they give you (my brother will take care of that for me). Recommendations?

They have a healthy option section:
    http://www.carrabbas.com/menu/gluten-free

I would still eat breakfast and lunch so you are not bing on the bread basket waiting for food. Have a great Birthday!

I almost always look at the menu online first and check the MFP database for anything I would want to eat and make sure that it fits in my daily calories. I would still eat a light breakfast/lunch but save most of your calories for dinner.

Happy Birthday (and I still celebrate my birthdays at 32 so you're never too old.)

Interesting. I don't really need gluten free food but it would help curve calories I'm sure. They have grilled salmon...I love salmon.

hhichristina- I try looking online for nutrition info but they don't release a lot of it. I see some stuff entered on MFP already and I wanna know where those users got that information from because Carabba's is very tight lipped about their nutrition. I may go with their grilled salmon with a bruchetta appetizer or house salad with a light vinaigrette. I dunno...decisions, decisions...
