I have and swear by Fila Voltage skeletoes, but with my up coming tri, I need a shoe without toes... that can be worn without socks..... What do you suggest?

I like the New Balance Minimus Trail Zeros. Give them a shot!
  • I might if I can find them

I had VIvoBarefoot, I like the shoe, but thought the quality was very poor. My laces ripped out the first time I wore them. They run small too. I was not impressed, however, did like the shoe themselves.

My son is a trail runner and has New Balance ones for trails that are barefoot minimal style, he loves them. They have a thicker plate in them that makes them better to run with for foot push off than normal barefoot shoes, I haven't ran in them, but he is loving them. He only run's 5K's because he is very young, but is pleased with the feel of them.

I've got two pairs of the Merrell bare foot trainers, my partner has a pair as well as a pair of the vibram fivefingers. I love them, so comfy and light and they've been washed a couple of times (in cold water with a bit of detergent) and they're still going strong!
  • thank you everyone.... I am leaning towards Merrill since I can get them Local.... any other ideas are welcome
