I use non-fat, plan, Greek yogurt instead of mayo to make tuna salad. I add sweet pickles, celery chunks and onion. I don't taste a difference. So you save on fat and add some protein and calcium.

Someone suggested mixing tuna with lowfat cottage cheese. I was looking for ways to eat tuna without mayo and eat cottage cheese (which I do not love plain) so though skeptical I gave it a shot tonight. I mixed water packed albacore tuna with enough cottage cheese to give it some moisture, added a little curry powder, salt, and fresh ground pepper. It was yummy. You could eat it plain stuffed in a sandwich, mixed with some veggies. A great super high protein, low cal meal maker.

Some people substitute the mayo for mashed avocado. I have not tried this yet, but I am a huge avocado fan and a huge tuna fan!

I really enjoy sauteeing some veggies (usually onion, mushrooms, radish, peppers, whatever I have in the fridge really), then adding a can of tuna to the pan for a few minutes to lightly brown. Then I add some eggs and scramble it all up together. Yummy.
