I hear all these different builds, just wondered what everyone wants to be? I class myself as curvey.. would you agree?

Yeah, you look very pear-ish to me.

I'm pretty much curvey, athletic, and boyish at the same time.

I think I have a boy-ish, athletic build. It doesn't look like it from my pictures but I do have very narrow hips and broad shoulders. When I used to be really skinny I had no curves (besides boobs lol).

i'm fat, wheres that option? a box?

    Yup, I'd say pear-shape too.

I think I am an hourglass shape. Hips as wide as my shoulders and tiny waist. Honestly, it scares me how small my waist is compared to the rest of me. I look like a ****ing wasp.

My body's like yours. Pearish, "curvy". I'd like to be thin to athletically built.

i want to be curvy instead of looking like a watermelon with legs! haha.
  • i wish someone could tell me my shape because idk. i think my love handles ruin my shape. i have no boobs or *kitten* just hips and lovehandles. and broad shoulders with long arms.

People keep telling me I'm athletic build and I do build muscle pretty easily but I have boobs too so that makes it kinda confusing. Can you be both athletic and curvy? Except I have no *kitten*. lol

I'm somewhere inbetween boyish and pear-shaped. I have a wide rib cage and narrow hips, but then I carry all my weight on my legs. I'd be happy just being boyish.

I'm an hourglass with extra minutes. I'd like to have less minutes, I guess.

All of the above might be fine so long as they came in at 20% body fat for a lady.
That's the measurement for an athletic body representing optimal health.

When a woman reaches peak fitness, these terms mean little.
You just look great any way you come!:drinker:

Definitely curvy...always had an hourglass figure before I got heavy.

I'm a bit curvier now that I my waistline is a bit smaller. :)

Wants to be? 5'9" and built like a Victoria's secret model. However I don't see that happening. So I guess I'm stuck with curvy, athletic, once the rest of the weight comes off.

Boyish, maybe a little pear shaped. I wouldn't mind being more athletic.

To me, curvy...most of times do look ...fat. :( I am curvy at bottom and I always look fat.

I've been told mine is athletic, which I don't really agree with but that's what people have said.

I'm think I'm more pear shaped, but not majorly so (my hips/legs aren't that much bigger than upper body) I would love to have an hourglass figure but I don't have the boobs for it :( Since I've started lifting more though and trying to build muscle I've realised I can build up my upper body a little, and slim my waist, making it a little more hourglass looking (more than it was before anyway!!)
  • I think I am curvy and athletic. I found a picture recently from a time when I was a bit too thin, and I was a little bit more boyish. I prefer the curves and muscles. :)

Yes, you're curvish. I'd describe myself as sort of a combination. I have curves to be sure. But I'm athletic and boyish too. Women with curves are generally pear shaped which is good. That means we are less prone to many of the nasty health problems that plague apple shapes. But you won't be concerned with that for many years yet. By the same token, it's very easy to put on extra weight on the hips and thighs and awfully hard to take it off.

I would like to be thought of as curvy.

Somewhat curvy, somewhat pear, somewhat hourglass... I don't have much boobs, but my shoulders balance my hips well. Somewhat athletic.

Depends on what I'm wearing, how I'm standing, and what I want to emphasize. I can look boyish (which I'd rather call girlish), or curvy, or athletic.
