How do you log the excercise from Insanity or other DVD workout programs? Thanks...

I log my Biggest Loser workouts under "Aerobics" high or low depending on intensity and/or "Circuit Training" when the workout use weights, sculpting etc.
How do you like Insanity? That seems a bit too intense for me at this point, but I may look into it later on down the line.0 -
I just manually enter in the minutes/calories. There are a lot of sites that will tell you an estimated burn for a workout DVD and that's what I use.0

I use a heart rate monitor for an accurate reading0

I don't log exercise, I include it in my TDEE calculations. So I am sedentary at work, and do the P90X/Insanity Hybrid, and my estimated BMR is 2080. So based on beachbody's recommendation (as well as Katch McArdle) my TDEE would be
= 2080 *1.55 = 3244
So for weight loss I need a deficit
CN = 3244 *.8 =2579
So I aim to eat 2600 calories every day. So I dont worry bout exercise calories at all. If you want to do something similar you can use the below link to figure out your estimated BMR

I have not started yet will be starting tomorrow. I am excited because I am tired of the treadmill I was up to 60 minutes and over 1000 calories burned with an incline of 15 and 3.8mph. I also lift weights at gym.0
