New user,,would love some support.

Hi I'm knew here and a bit shy. Fitness has been apart of my life for a long time. Unfortunately my snacking lately is causing a little love handle action. Any thoughts for helping me not eat late at night?

    Give yourself a deadline (like 8) and then have lots and lots of water around you to fend off the cravings. And a toilet so you can pee every 5 minutes.
  • But for real though... that 10pm-12am window is misery! The only thing you can do is pray you fall asleep before the kitchen raid goes down!

    Some things that work for me:

    Give yourself a cut off time BUT---
    Save a few extra calories and keep some healthy low cal snacks handy so that you stay in your calorie range but can still eat a little something so that at 4am you don't wake up hungry.

    Examples:
    Fiber One Brownies: 90 calories (kinda filling to me)
    Small can of spinach: 60 calories
    Natures valley chocolate and granola bars: 80 calories

    See? Sweet and lower cal! If you want savory, buy a pack of THIN sliced turkey and only eat a little :) Low Calorie there too!

    Drink water or unsweetened tea (take teabag and dip it in water)
    You can also try the Yoga or Traditional Medicinal weight loss teas at night to help curb cravings.
