Why oh why did I take up chocolate and candy making as a hobby before I started using MFP?!!! :)

My kids love it but I find it a little difficult to keep my snoot outta the finished product containers at the end of the day...

First it was coconut joys....then the double chocolate nougat...a couple weeks ago it was a toffee buttercrunch...looking at making citrus confit these days off...help!!!

    I made Oreo pops and candy decorations as a hobby/business before mfp.
    I ate the rejects and would keep some in the fridge.
    I had to stop coz I knew it would be hard to just sell and look at them!

    Hey V,

    Yeah..I use cooking and baking as a stress relief session from my job...I would love to be able to go back to school learn more about it but for right now I'm working my way through the Chocolates and Confections book from Peter Greweling from the Culinary Institute of America..

    What are Oreo pops?? I've made cake pops before..are they similar?

    Sounds lovely but tempting. Lol.

    Yep. SimIlar to cake pops. Oreos are crumbled and mixed with other ingredients then shaped into balls and dunked in chocolate.
