supplements?

does anyone know if its ok to take supplements if you arent getting enough of a certain vitamin or mineral? im lacking pretty bad on the potassium thing and was wondering if it would help to supplement it? any ideas

    Bananas are a good way to get more potassium, the Dr. recommended a banana a day to my mother just for that reason. It is best to get vitamins & minerals through your diet, but if you can't then supplements are a way to make up for them.

    I am on beachbody multi vitamins. I have found that their metabolism formula does not upset my stomach, which was a big reason I didn't take mine daily. No stomach upset means I do better taking them.
