Avacados!!!!

My new crack!

Any creative uses/recipes? Any tricks to keep them from spoiling so fast (I know the lemon juice one - mezz/mezz on results with it).

I really wish I could store them longer - I only like to use a half at a time!

    I read that if you put the pit in with the avacado it will keep it green. I made quac on Saturday morning, put the pit in the bowl with it and it stayed green and looking good through the next day.

    I made a BLT with the 45 cal per slice bread, venison bacon, tomatoes and spead avocado on the bread instead of mayo. YUM!!
    I also use it in my salads...today it is lettuce, crab, avocado, hard boiled egg, mushrooms.

    I love them too! I like to put them on lean burgers it makes the burger not so dry :)
