CURB APPETITE WITH PILLS

I'm new at this strict eating stuff and it seems I'm almost always hungry. I have been looking into some different types of appetite supressors. I found this hoodia gondorii pills and they look like they might work for appetite supression. Has anyone use this stuff before, I don't need any energy stuff with it, just make me not so hungry all the time

Water works. I drink a ton of it, usually at least 12 glasses a day. Really works. I would stay away from pills.0

JUST SAY NO No but really, don't take pills. How many calories are you eating and what types of foods. You may just need to eat more. And get more protien0

I agree. I did lose a bunch of weight with pills, but ultimately it messed me up and I gained the weight back. I am starting again this time doing it the right way. I have been making jugs of Sun Tea - making use of the good hot summer and keeping a continuous glass filled. This has really filled me up and made me realize that when I do want to snack, it is mostly out of boredom and not because I am really hungry.0

I try and keep around a 1500 calorie a day, I drink my breakfast with a small protien bar, around 360 calories, snack on ralphs carbmaster yogurt. I get 1/2 bag of frozen vegtables with some butter spray for lunch, maybe some fruit, carrots (raw)....etc...etc, they fill me up I think, but it feels like I'm missing something that would make me fill full full....maybe that's the problem, i'm so use to feeling stuffed and uncomfortable when i'm usually full.0

Your lunch sounds like it needs some protein too. I find just veggies doesn't do it for me.

Try protein water maybe? Lots of fiber and protein, too. NO PILLS!!!!0

reason is I do not know what I'm doing...lol...I fill out the sheets and I see the carbs, but I mostly eat low calorie and low to no sugar0 -

Lately, I've been eating an insane amount of beans, black beans in particular. They are so filling and they stay with you for a long time. They truly are a magical fruit.0

You don't need pills. You need to figure out what foods are most satiating. Make sure you get fiber, fat and protein with every meal and snack. Cinnamon and dark chocolate are both natural appetite suppressants (there are others, which a quick Google search should help you find) and tea is an awesome way to stave off hunger between meals. Or coffee. Pretty much any hot liquid.0

I have taken two different kinds that are AMAZING. the first, is oxyelite pro. I got it at GNC, and it helped me not only with hunger, but with exercise as well! it give you that extra push that makes you magically want to exercise. no more feeling sluggish! the other one I've tried, which I actually took this morning, is called roxylean. (also got that at GNC) if you have a GNC close to where you live, you can ask them for different samples so you can try a few things out before you decide to buy them!0

I have not tried that one, nor any in the last few years. I personally have never once found anything that supressed my appetite other than just learning to live on less food which I have been able to do by following the calorie goals MFP gave me in the beginning. Now that I am closer to my goal I have had to tweak some things to make it work better for me, but I would say just skip it. It will only take you a couple of weeks to adapt to the lower calorie intake.0

I buy these oscar mayer cutting board beef and chicken, but I can eat the whole package, plus veggies, plus yogrt, plus ........thats why I need to curb my appetite

Try to add some grilled chicken with your vegetables for lunch and try oatmeal for breakfast. Then maybe have the yogurt and the bar for snacks.0

It sounds like you are not eating right. I only eat 1200 calories a day and never feel like I didnt eat enough. I bag of vegetables is not enough food for lunch and your breakfast doesnt sound fullfilling either. You can eat real meals within your calorie goals and feel full. Eat some chicken, fish, or steak with your bag of veggies. You can make a breakfast sandwhich, eat oatmeal or cereal, or some other real meal instead of a protein bar with whatever you are drinking. Its not just the calories its how you are eating the calories. You wont feel hungry if you plan sustainable meals.0 -
If you weant to take a drug to suppress appetite then find a dealer and get some methamphetamine. Its cheap, will cut your appetite lmost 100% and you will lose a ton of weight, and teeth.0

I know exactly what you are talking about. And personally, I don't have a problem with taking pills to curb appetite. It was the only way I could get my calories down to a good range without feeling like I am always starving. Some people mentioned eating more protein, but I don't think that is the whole story. I think for awhile my body had a carb/sugar addiction, which made my brain send signals that I was hungry all the time. I was literally hungry when I shouldn't have been.
So, for awhile I only ate protein, good fats, and very few carbs. Most of my carbs were from veggies, but no bread or sugar products. Once I was able to get my body used to not having carbs, my appetite triggers went way back down to normal, and now I've reintroduced carbs into my diet. I still take a appetitie suppressent, but its a secondard side effect to the medication my doctor prescribed. Still, even before I took the meds, introducing healthy fats and avoiding carbs for a few months made a HUGE difference in my appetite triggers.
So, I would say before you try pills, try eating really good fats and see if they fill you up while allowing you to stay below your calorie goal for the day. They should greatly help you reduce cravings. Some of my favorite treats are organically grown happy pig bacon, grass fed happy cow butter, raw milk, cream cheese, smoked salmon, avacado, and turkey breast.0 -

When I first started I was on Tenuate which is a prescription appettite suppressant, but I got off of it and haven't noticed a difference. The thing is to find filling foods that are good for you and to let your body get used to eating less than it used to while still feeling satisfied or full. It takes time, but it's easier when you condition your body rather than rely on pills or some herbal concoction because those you can't have forever.0
