When I first started logging exercise, I thought I was on fire with the calories I burned. Now that I have done some research, I am not nearly as hot as I thought. I do Turbo Kick and MFP said I was burning over 600 calories. Alas, I am actually burning around 500. So the question is, "How do I ensure that I am accurately logging my exercise?" I really don't want to invest in a Fitbit. Any suggestions?

Run to Target (or Amazon) and find yourself a Polar heart rate monitor with a chest strap.
I use a Polar F4 model (the pink version  ) and use that to get an accurate measure of what a I burn, then adjust the time on MFP to match the Polar's calorie count.
