I used to dislike salad, until I learnt that I have to make healthy eating DELICIOUS! Everyday for lunch at work I had a selection of greens, topped with
cherry tomatoes,
tune in olive oil (I have found that the olive oil helps to keep me satiated)
olives
roasted pumpkin
balsamic
I also was putting a 30g mix of roasted sunflower and pumpkin seeds over as well (30g total of seeds) but during weight loss, I found that the tuna in olive oil made me feel more 'full' (previously I was having the seeds and tuna in springwater). Having both the seeds and tuna in olive oil made the salad tip the calorie mark a little higher than I am happy with. I am hopeful that one day I will reach that magical 'maintenance' phase and be able to have BOTH! YUM!
I get so many comments by people at work about how yummy my salad looks
