Hello - my name is Nan. I need to lose about 25 pounds to get down to me pre-pregnancy weight of 118 pounds. I had been maintaining a weight of about 130-135 pounds until this year, when I packed on another 10 pounds. I am completely miserable and uncomfortable with my weight. I wish I could wear clothes I like rather than clothes that fit. I need to cut carbs and exercise more, and I am hoping to "meet' people on this forum who would inspire me and keep me motivated.

    Hi Nan

    First off, your not going to be able to do anything about where you are at right now. Accept the fact that your weight is where it's at and start taking the initiative (which you have already done by signing up for MFP) to define your weight loss goals (i.e. you want to lose 25 pounds right). So what's the time-frame for losing 25 pounds and how are you going to plan on getting there (reduce calories, exercise, etc.). How often daily, weekly. get the idea.
