banana peppers, onions, and Olive Garden salad dressing!
  • I used to dislike salad, until I learnt that I have to make healthy eating DELICIOUS! Everyday for lunch at work I had a selection of greens, topped with

    cherry tomatoes,
tune in olive oil (I have found that the olive oil helps to keep me satiated)
    olives
    roasted pumpkin
    balsamic

I also was putting a 30g mix of roasted sunflower and pumpkin seeds over as well (30g total of seeds) but during weight loss, I found that the tuna in olive oil made me feel more 'full' (previously I was having the seeds and tuna in springwater). Having both the seeds and tuna in olive oil made the salad tip the calorie mark a little higher than I am happy with. I am hopeful that one day I will reach that magical 'maintenance' phase and be able to have BOTH! YUM!

I get so many comments by people at work about how yummy my salad looks :)

Arugula with crumbled center cut bacon (25cal/slice), cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, and a poached egg.

OR arugula, watermelon, and feta, drizzled with reduced balsamic and flavored with a twist or 2 of fresh ground black pepper.

Best replacement topping for croutons is steam fried noodles.

My fave salad is Snickers, but I haven't had it in ages.
    - colored, mini marshmallows
    - chopped apple with skin
    - Cool Whip
    - frozen Snickers bar (easier to cut into chunks)

I love fat free feta crumbled, craisins, pine nuts and cucumber over a baby spinach blend or baby romaine blend!

I also love Greek salad with cukes, kalamata olives, and feta.

Southwest turkey salad: with black beans, corn, diced red peppers, pepper jack shredded over romaine with chunks of turkey!

I could go on and on!
