Music festival on a diet - help (UK only please)

Hi everyone,

I'm going to a music festival this weekend and it will be laden with the usual high-calorie foods I need to avoid.

I am going to Tesco tomorrow to pick up supplies. Any advice about what to buy that will keep me away from the chips and will not perish in the (hopefully!) sunshine. This applies to alcohol too. I'd like to get relatively tipsy without blowing all my cals on beer.

Don't tell me to just let go for the weekend. It is this kind of attitude that is stalling my overall weightloss.

Ideas so far
- rum/diet coke
- pimms/diet lemonade
-apples
-ricecakes

Make your own sandwiches and pasta in advance then take along in a cooler box? :)

Isn't one of the lowest calorie drinks vodka and diet coke?
I'm not sure what I'd take, will you be able to heat things up or not?
wholemeal Pitta with salad/cheese should be ok if you assemble it there and keep it all in a cool bag to help.
    Cereal bars and crackers/ falafel
Tinned whatever you like, fruit/some veg/beans.
    Pasta salad.
I hope you figure it out in time, it's a tricky question.
