Wearing makeup while working out: YAY or NAY?

Personally I use makeup everyday since I was 14 years old. I only don't wear if I'm going to the beach, but I'll still wear a lipstick. But if I'm going running with a friend, I'll at least wear foundation and lipstick.
I know it's probably not a very good judgement because when you work out you sweat and because you wear makeup your pores are clogged.
But everyone's opinion is different so do you mind wearing makeup during a physical activity or not?

If I am working out after work or school, I leave it on. If I am just waking up, I don't put anything on. Maybe some chapstick.0

I go right after work so I keep it on.0

I don't purposely wear make up to work out, but If I do it after work or something and I have makeup on whatever.0
-
No make up. I just end up sweaty and gross.0

I've only just started wearing make-up again on a regular basis. In my current job (as a receptionist) I feel like it's almost a requirement, however in my work before that I would always seem to sweat it off.
I don't know if it's just because I'm so not used to wearing make-up but I wash it off immediately after I get home. I don't think I could stand working out in it.0 -
I don't put it on for the purpose of working out, but if it's already on, I just leave it.0

Nay! It runs and you look way worse than you would if you'd just gone natural. Not much uglier than a woman with melty makeup.0

LOL I don't even wear makeup when it's super hot out. Well...ok, I wear my trademark red or hot pink lip, but that's it!0
-
I use makeup remover wipes to get it off if I have to workout right after work.0
-
never, ever. I sweat, and it would be running down my face.0
-
Honestly, if you feel better about yourself with your make-up on and can manage the sweat coming through it (a good foundation needed for sure!) then why not? I leave mine on because I go after work...0

I work out right after work so I usually have some on. But I would never purposely put some on to work out.0

I only wear mascara and eyeliner sometimes anyway, and so the only time I wear this to the gym is if I'm going after work.
But I can't stand the feel of makeup on my face anyway, so I can't imagine having full makeup on while working out. It just seems like 1. totally uncomfortable and 2. a complete waste of time (why bother putting it on when it's just going to get gross in an hour)0 -
I dont, lol0

i rarely wear make-up anytime, so i do not wear it when working out (or at work) i just wear it when going out somewhere. i feel like when i wear it all the time, my skin gets ucky, and most of the time i like the way i look better without make-up0

But by the time I leave I usually have mascara streaked down my face....lol. It is not pretty0 -
If its already on then its on, if it hasn't gone on it isn't going on.0
-
No way...!!!!0

I never wear make-up. I am a lazy hobo. Also, foundation is gross.0
-
ALWAYS. refresh skin with a powder when done lol.0

I probably sweat most of my makeup off at work first, so nothing more than eyeliner I'm sure. BUT I never put it on for the purpose of going to the gym. I'm not there to impress anyone...just to work my butt of and get rid of some of this fat!0

If I already have it on like in the eveing, no I don't wash it off to work out.
But for the most part I exercise in the morning. I do not put on make-up to go to the gym. What a waste of money first off because you sweat and wipe it off. I am not there to look pretty.0 -

Um, this. *blush*0 -

I don't wear a lot of make up especially during the summer. If I already have it on, who cares. I definately don't put it on intentionally knowing I'm working out/walking/running/whatever. That just seems ridiculous to me even if you are trying to impress someone.0
-
I usually have it on as I work out after work.....and just sweat if off!0
-
Wait... what?
"My fanjita is dripping sweat, but my face is looking FIERCE!"
All that matters.
I guess that rosy glow you get from actual exercise isn't enough for ya, huh?0 -
The way I sweat, I'd end up looking like Alice Cooper if I wore my regular makeup to exercise.
Maybe a little lip color and eyeliner pencil on the top lashes if I'm running a race and going to be photographed. Hey, if I can't win, I at least don't want to look like death crossing the finish line!0 -
just eyeliner and mascara0

+1
Personally I think it's silly to wear makeup to work out. This is you time why are you doing something for someone else (makeup is never for u... it's for other people IMO). I also can't stand those who wear a lot of perfume or cologne. Stinks worse than body odor! lol.
To each their own though. If you feel like you need it.... well then wear it. I just don't bother with makeup 95% of the time, working out or not.0
