I used to live in Ottawa and work in Toronto. I'd take the Via Rail train every Friday afternoon back to Ottawa for the weekend. One Friday, we were hit with a terrific snowstorm, and the airport was virtually shut down, but train traffic was still moving.

Sitting in the last row of the 1st class car, Tom Cochrane came back to use the pay phone (yes, before the proliferation of cell phones). (Ok, Tom Cochrane isn't a huge celebrity, but in the 90's, he was cranking out the hits in Canada. Think "Life is a Highway".) Anyway, he returns to his seat.

I'm reading the local paper and notice a review of his previous night's concert, so the next time he doesn't look too occupied, I get up the nerve to chat with him, and ask him to sign the newspaper article for me. We chatted for several minutes, and then he asks me if I'm going to see his show that night. Seriously, I didn't know he was playing that night, but he said I should come, and he left two passes for my wife and I at the box office.

Great concert, classy guy and down home friendly.

I met R Kelly back in '96 at a ****'s Sporting Goods. LOL not that I am proud of that!! In '04, while on the search for Tiki Barber at Giants training camp, my classmate and I met Ike Hilliard.

When I was 17, I was a waitress at a small upscale restaurant in a gated community in our itty, bitty town. I was loaded down with hot plates, came around the corner and BAM!!!!!!!....ran straight in to Richard Kiel, the guy who is the big villain with silver teeth in one of the James Bond movies. He was very relevant at the time, and after I got over apologizing a million times for spilling food all over him, I was completely star struck. He was BIG too....I think I ran in to his knees! He was SO KIND, I will never forget that.

I met Pink too. She is a little, tiny package...kind of like dynamite. Small, but packs a BIG kick. She had diamonds professionally glued to her TEETH. When I told her how tiny I thought she was, she said "no, I'm not!" then barked at me like a rabid dog. LOL
