Something to help the routine on "rest days"?

I am a creature of habit, my body wakes me up the same time everyday, I get hungry the same time everyday, etc.
I have started working out on the treadmill and while I can do it everyday I am starting to feel the burn, and as such think I would benefit from resting the odd day or two a week rather than carrying on.
But I know if I don't fill that slot between 6:15am and 6:45am with another exercise I will get complacent, it is just what I do.
So seeing as I am at home, what do people recommend (in the exercise arena) that compliments the treadmill but gives those muscles time to heal, without buying much or any equipment?
When I'm on the treadmill I usually carry 3lb weights to work my arms too so I can't even do that if they are healing.
Any ideas to fill the void and stop me getting lazy?

I would suggest doing yoga on your rest days. It's still exercise to keep you busy, but it's easy on your body and allows you to stretch those sore muscles.0

maybe exercise a difference muscle group. or do some weights if you are only doing cardio atm0

I've tried Pilates and that didn't work with me having all the men's appendages.... never tried Yoga0

Walk or Run0

I do yoga on my rest day. The easy, stress relief, stretchy kind. Men's appendages should not get in the way of either yoga or pilates.0
