Hi I'm Nikki and new to MFP. I've been dealing with my weight for as long as I can remember. Finally, I'm ready to give up on diets and change my lifestyle for good. I haven't been diagnosed with any sicknesses (thank God!) and would like to keep it that way. I would love to make new friends as I take this journey, in the hopes of finally succeeding at losing this weight. I'd like my days of only snapping headshots to be in my past! :-)

Hey there. Good for you for deciding to make yourself happier. I say you take a full shot. Don't be afraid to show off your progress. Take a full shot now and then look back in six months. And when you have to change your photo because, well the current one isn't you anymore, you'll have succeeded.

Honey I only do head shots if most of my face is covered by my hair  We'll get those lbs and inches off. May be slow going but slow and steady wins the race. :drinker:

Feel free to add me :-)
I'd love to offer support/encouragement. At midnight I'll hit my 505 straight day of logging in to mfp. It's SO possible. You can do it!

Congrats on joining! I can relate to your story pretty well as that has been my struggle for some years now. I hope you reach the success you want. :)
