So embarrased!

I was walking on the treadmill at the gym yesterday, was changing songs on my Ipod and must have drifted because I stepped half on the belt and half off and it threw me off balance. I tilted backwards and then lunged forward to grab the rails and steadied myself. I could just feel everyone's eyes burning into my back, I felt so stupid. Luckily I still had another 10 minutes so by the time I was done and got off I had almost (but not quite) forgotten about it. :blushing:

Anyone have any embarrasing workout stories to make me feel less stupid, I have to go back today, haha.

Once time, I was on the elliptical, and I was watching Golden Girls. I guess I got really entertained because I like...tripped? And fell off the machine.

I mean, who knew Golden Girls was that intense?

Yes!! I actually did fall off the treadmill at the gym. Basically I did the same thing, but I couldn't grab on fast enough. I was thrown back into into one of the stands they have for the fans. Scraped up my knee AND my chin. I didn't stick around long after that.

I was out for a run with my dog recently, and she saw something on the other side of the road that she was interested in and lunged in front of me and I tripped and fell over her. Luckily there was no one around....

I once mis-calculated where I was on the bench of a bench press, laid back and bumped my head on the bar. After I figured out I wasn't Batman I continued with my set.

You're not the first, I wasn't the first, we won't be the last to do silly stuff like that, so I just laugh and move on.

Well, one day I was running on the path at the park and these people were walking slowly across the entire path. I moved over to run around them and tripped over a tree root and fell. My first fall, how fun!

Also, there was a day where I didn't pay much attention to my choice of undergarments for the day and I wanted to run on the treadmill. I had the grand plan of doing 5 miles, but the undies wanted to keep falling down inside my shorts. I just thank God for the drawstring keeping my shorts up!

Hahaha! I just burned several calories laughing about this comment!

I fell asleep in yoga class once, and apparently I was snoring :(

    Oh, that sucks!

Well, if it makes you feel any better-- I bought a new bike for the first time since I was 14, this summer. I was riding it for the 3rd time around our community and as I was going around the corner, I fell over. :blushing:

I was too embarrassed to get back on it, so I walked it back home. There was a neighbor watching that day.

I'm sure he's long forgotten it. And, I'm sure I'll get back on when it warms up again.

But, we've all been there-- everyone's done something embarrassing. The people at the gym will forget about it in no time. Haha.
