I like to read labels to see what I am eating, but what should be simple like Italian dressing has all of this other stuff in it. What is all the stuff that I can't pronounce? I mean seriously I just made an Italian dressing with Red Wine Vinegar, Olive Oil, sea salt and pepper, and Italian seasoning. Maybe someone can really tell me what all of the other stuff is in bottled salad dressing.

    Preservatives, stabilizers, emulsifying agents, thickeners...

I'll make my own basic ones, but there are a couple store-bought dressings that I like too much to kick out of the refrigerator.
  • Nasty unnecessary stuff....salad dressings are so inexpensive and much healthier when you make them yourself....variety is endless as well...I never buy them....
