Fitness Maintenance check with photos

Someone here asked me if I still look like my photo's from my fitness photo shoot (in my profile). I have been maintaining my fitness level since last fall. I've probably fluctuated a few pounds but I don't weigh or measure myself anymore. I have found such freedom in not looking at those things and no longer driving myself batty with all the water fluctuations in the body. I go with how my clothes fit and how I look in the mirror. But on occasion photo's help you see true story. I still love MFP for keeping me on track and having a diet log to review.
So, on the 4th of July this year I woke up after working a very long shift walking around all day the previous day. I felt good so impromptu decided to take pictures. It was fun because it wasn't a contest and it wasn't an event or photo shoot, it was just me doing this for myself and checking on how my fitness maintenance was going. I'm happy. Yes I look the same. Yes you can live day to day with abs and ripped muscles! Don't let anyone tell you it can't be done. Don't let anyone judge what you eat or don't eat, how little or how much, or whether or not you eat back your exercise calories or not (I don't). If what you do works for you and makes you happy and healthy and you can sustain it, so be it, your physique and health speak for itself.

Per the forum I tried pasting "
" and then changing the capital IMG to lower case and it just does not seem to work for me.

You look damn good to me!0

Oh wow. Just curious, what bf% are you at?0
-
I'm not sure, I'm thinking around 10%?? I am getting a DXA done in a few weeks to find out. I think it's especially important at my age (over 51) to check the bone density as well as other body composition.0

It was the spaces in the album name "Fourth of July 2012" that got parsed from a blank space " " to "%20" and MFP has the most finicky bbcode ever.
And... DAMN! You look awesome!0 -
Omg! Your legs look amazing!!! JAW DROPPING!!!0
-
Thank you LorinaLynn for doing that. What a sweetie!
And Thanks Goal_Seeker! I used to run for years and not weight training for the legs. I've found doing weight training for legs (as well as upper body) really brought on the definition. Weight training is amazing for your body! Especially adding one legged exercises (step ups, curtsy lunges, lunges, one legged dead lifts, one legged get ups. All=awesome legs!)0 -
You look phenomenal! Thanks for sharing. :flowerforyou:0

Holy crap! I would never believe you are 51. That is awesome.0
