BEFORE YOU START FLAMING, PLEASE TAKE THE 1200 CALORIE FLAME TO THE OTHER TOPIC

Being very sedentary, and actually getting quite full with 800-1000 calories, what are peoples recommendations for raising the calorie count so a person can raise their metabolism.

It seems that the metabolism has matched the calorie count, seems to me that raising the metabolism should be more calories to induce more energy to exercise more, to increase metabolism. How have people handled this?

Difficulty level: Allergic to anything nutty

Gradually increase both your intake & your exercise. By gradually, I mean adding something like 100 cal/day for a week then upping it again. Do things in stages & give your body time to adjust. I'm currently losing weight & eating 2400 cal/day.
