A couple of my friends have birthdays soon and I just wanted to know what you guys drink on a night to minimise the damage your waistline. Could do with the help because I don't fancy drinking water all night so I don't get thrown off track xD

Stay away from the pints unless they are low carb, I prefer liquor because it's quicker. Mix it with club soda, tonic or water with a slice of lemon or lime. Stay away from soda pop mixers and as always, drink responsibly.0

I drink white wine. It's decent as far as calories go.
Light beers are good too.

That site lists a lot of alcohols.
The biggest problem I face is not making foolish food choices when I'm inebriated.0 -
I drink whatever but red wine is a great option.0

As with all indulgences, the key is moderation. Alcohol is actually pretty good for you in small doses, just don't drink it after a workout (it interferes with liver functions like glycogen production) and be sure to take into account all those liquid calories when planning your meals.0
