I've read a few articles saying that coffee, if black, can even be good for you? Has anyone else heard this? I heard it's good for you when you drink it an hour before working out to kickstart calorie burning... true or false?

I have a feeling most of the "boost your metabolism" foods work on a very small scale. That being said, i know coffee definitely boosts my motivation at 5:30am when I go to the gym. :drinker:0

Black coffee alone no sugar which can be a terrible taste is okay for you. Just keep it to a minium 1 cup a day. Cafe Verona by Starbucks is pretty tasty black.0
