I currently have mine set to 30% Carbs 40% Protein 30% Fat and I'm not struggling too much to stay within these boundaries. I just wondered what everyone else is doing and wanted to check these were safe ratios to have?

Thanks :)

    I'm currently at 35/30/35 (C/P/F). It's pretty easy and I usually go over on my protein anyway.

    I don't see this as a problem to be honest. Protein tends to keep me fuller for longer. To be honest, I don't think I could manage eating so many carbs in a day lol.

    Can someone please clue me in on how to create these settings? I'm clueless! Thanks in advance.

    I found it by changing your GOALs but under the manual method.

    Mine are currently set to:

    Carbs = 40%
    Protein/Fat = 30% each

    But for the next week or two, I am doing a low carb/moderate carb diet to try and break my plateau, so I'm trying to stick to less than 20% carbs and 80% protein and fat... hopefully more protein and less fat! =)

    I'm 35/35/30...no idea if this is a good set up or not, but it seem to be working for me so far :)

    What you have is what is recommended by many people and what many of my friends on here who are in AMAZING shape have theirs set to.

    I'm trying a low-er carb approach for a few weeks to see if it gives me quicker results so I'm doing

    30/40/30 (c/p/f) and it works fine for me, I have a good amount of energy and the increase in protein, even though I really have to think about it, has helped keep me fuller for longer.

    I naturally hit around 10% carbs, I can't say that I pay much attention to the rest, as long as I eat unprocessed food and avoid sugar it all works out for me. Maybe 15% sometimes.

    10-20% carbs / 25% protein / around 50-60% fat is how I eat.

    Higher fat and moderate protein is most beneficial when you drop your carbs that low.
  • I'll probably get a lot of negative reaction for this, but mine are set at 75% carb, 10% protein, 15% fat. That's real carbs, fruit and veg and grains, not refined sugar. I've only been a member here a couple days but I ate this way last winter and dropped 30 lbs not even trying. Ate 2k calories a day too. At least.
