Cream Cheese and Salsa PinWheels
This recipe can serve as a tasty snack or lite lunch.
Ingredients:
4 fat free white flour tortillas
8 tbsp light cream cheese
8 tbsp salsa
Directions:
Let cream cheese sit out until room temperature. (For a quickie, you can put it in the microwave for a couple seconds until soft)
Mix cream cheese and salsa together until easily spreadable.
Place 2 tbsp of mixture on each of the 4 tortillas and spread across each entirely.
Secure with toothpick, place in refrigerator, and let chill. (the chilling may be omitted if preferred)
Remove rolls from refrigerator and slice to 1 inch thickness.
Makes 24 slices, serves approximately 4.

I love these! I make these a bunch of different ways, too. Sometimes it's cream cheese and olives, sometimes it's with diced green chiles, sometimes I'll add hummus and chopped red pepper. Really versatile recipe!0

Yes! these are so yummy! used to use the mixture as a dip, but added some taco seasoning to it!0

these are delish - You can also make them with laughing cow cheese - the queso fresco & chipotle one is especially delicious. watch the sodium though -- the stinkin tortillas can be high in sodium - especially the low carb ones!0
