My fat is more jiggly...is this normal?

I have a ton of weight to lose. When I started about 3 weeks ago, my fat seemed more solid. When I would walk it didn't jiggle all over the place. Now...3 weeks in...and I feel like a bowl full of jello that was set on a shaker machine!

I just don't know if this is normal, like the fat density is reducing and with my increased water intake, has become more...fluid? Or if as my fat is being destroyed by all of the exercise I am doing, there is just more room to jiggle about?

Anyone else run across this?

Welcome to the wonderful world of loose skin. At this point, I feel like the world's foremost authority. I have jiggly fat at 18.6% body fat.

Here's the deal: Your skin was pulled tight over the fat. Now some of the fat is gone and your skin is loose because it hasn't bounced back (and if you do have a lot to lose, some of it probably won't). Some of the fat is actually kind of attached to said skin (loose skin isn't thin, it has a little fat attached inside it as folks who have it can attest).

Sorry. Probably not what you wanted to hear.

^^^^^ Exactly this! (oops, too slow - to vypeters)

I have noticed that while my fat is smaller, my skin is still big so it makes everything 'wobblier'. I'm hoping the skin will eventually catch up, more or less

    Thanks...that was an interesting read!

I can tell you from that my brain and eyeballs need a major whooshing experience. They are feeling a bit disappointed at the moment.

I am definitely not "squishy" yet...but yay (sarcasm) something else great to look forward to! (rolls eyes)
