HELP! Holiday Lunch

We have a holiday lunch today and we have a limited menu. I wanted to get your opinions on what are the healthiest options. Below is the menu. Thanks in advance for any thoughts!!! :heart:

First Course
Watercress & Potato Soup
Or
Napoleon of Vine Ripe Tomato
Pipe Dreams Goat Cheese
Or
Northern Neck Farms Mixed Greens

Main Course
Roasted Pork Loin
Gruyere Cheese Potato Cake, Apple & Raisin Sauce
Or
Beef “Carbonnade” Flamande
Or
Pan Seared Fillet of Salmon
Provençal Sauce, Black Olive Butter
Or
Spiced Couscous, Steamed Vegetables, Tomato and Valderama Olive Coulis

{Served with Caramelized Brussel Sprouts & Gratin of Endive}

Dessert Course
Gateau of Chocolate
Or
Pear Tarte Tatin & Cinnamon Honey Ice Cream
Or
Belgian Bread Pudding

  • This isn't a bad menu. The only thing I would worry about is buttter or excessive fats (cream sauces), but the use of those differ from one kitchen to another.
    Over all, a healthy menu.
    In my opinion, order what most appeals to you, then leave half on your plate.

    Sounds really good!
    personally I'd go for the tomato & goats cheese
    couscous
    and have your chocolate cake, but eat half of it!

    this seems to be the healthier option.. but to be honest the chocolate cake would be amazing!!
