When you add a food in the food section; it will display carbs/cals/fat/protein? Is there anyway to display sugar? I may just be ignorant in regards to food label/nutrients. But where can you track sugar? Or is sugar part of carbs?

If you go in under settings and look at food diary settings, it gives you a choice of what nutrients you want to track, just choose sugar.

I recently added this and find it irritating. It tracks ALL surgar, including fruit, not just "added" sugar. The daily reocmmended sugar for women based on my research is 30 grams and when dieting, less. So according to the app, you quickly blow through that number if you are eating fruits and other things with natural sugar. So I've been tryign to manually track it.

I started tracking my sugar as well. It bums me out that my yogurt has a ton of sugar! Does consuming over your daily recommended amount derail weight loss?

I eat yogurt every morning and I don't think it is that high in sugar. Usually Stonyfield yogurt (about ~6g sugar per 1/2 cup), and sometimes I have Redwood Hill goat yogurt (about ~4.5g sugar per 1/2 cup). I only eat whole milk yogurt of course, because it is for breakfast and I need the fat to make me feel full. I usually cut up fruit into it and the fruit bumps my sugar intake up, but the yogurt shouldn't really be the main contributor, I think. Of course, I'm no expert at all.

If you stay in a calorie deficit, no.

It bugs me too! I have found, though, that plain yogurt with some good vanilla extract and stevia is quite delicious.

Yeah unfortunately commercial yogurt is not the health food it is marketed as; neither is granola. lol But at least it will open your eyes to better options.
