So, my playlist is getting a little stale :grumble: and I want to add some really good high energy songs to help motivate me to get through my workouts. What are some of your favorite songs that are "must haves" in your playlist? :drinker:

Lately I like the "harder" stuff: Chevelle (Forfeit is an AWESOME one of theirs), My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park. Umm, I can't think right now, but it's the hard music that keeps me pumped up and going.
You should also check out 30 Seconds To Mars if you haven't already done so. I'm a huge fan of theirs. Their older stuff is heavier, but I still have yet to hear a song of theirs that I didn't like. (Small fun fact: The picture on my 'ticker' is a screen grab from their Kings + Queens video)
When I'm running out of new song ideas, I turn on iheartradio and just let that play randomly. It usually gives me some pretty good ideas.
Also, they need a "High-Five" smiley. Make it so.0 -
I always go back to the classics, you just can't go wrong. Sex Pistols, Ramones, Violent Femmes, Suicidal Tendencies, Nirvana, Melvins...0

Usually when i work out I tend to turn on Iheart Radio and my favorite station is Club Phusion -lots of upbeat techno dance stuff which is great for keeping high energy and moving. The others I listen to are rock - staind, chevelle, and hard metal stuff..0

Dance/House/Techno stuff is what I listen to
Deadmau5, Feed Me, Skrillex, Justice, just to name a few.0 -
That's funny because I just answered this recently on another forum. I know it's important... at least for me to stay on a machine for any time, it is. IMO when working out it's rap all the way... which I don't really listen to at any other time except maybe when I'm out dancing :
Lose Control - Missy Elliott
Pretty Girl Rock - Keri Hilson
Stuntin' Like My Daddy - Birdman
Kryptonite - Purple Ribbon All-Stars
Wipe Me Down - Lil Boosie that feat. Foxx and Webbie
Headsprung - LL Cool J0 -
Depending on your tastes in music... Right now I have ..
DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love - Usher
More - Usher
Where Them Girls At - David Guetta
This Is War - 30 Seconds to Mars
Make it Stop - Rise Against
On the Floor - JLo
Give Me Everything - Pitbull
If I had you - Adam Lambert
Say Hey (I Love You) Michael Franti & Spearhead
Hysteria - Muse
Uprising - Muse
Helena - My Chemical Romance
It's an eclectic mix.0 -

A few months ago, I bookmarked an NPR series where they were interviewing various people to try and create the best workout mix. Here's the link: http://www.npr.org/2012/01/13/145185920/the-ultimate-npr-workout-mix
They also have another link with 'themed' workouts like gospel, 80's, etc. called Sweatin' to NPR
