Hi All!
over the last year or so, I have lost 22 lbs. I am 5' 4" and currently 145 lbs. I would like to get down to 130-135. I read several of these discussion posts, and it just seems that a lot of the information is conflicting. Can someone that actually knows what they are talking about please offer me some advice?
I am currently hitting the gym 5 times a week. Twice a week, I usually do cardio, sometimes HIIT. Three times a week, I lift (with the help of an amature trainer). My calories are set at 1200 daily. Is that just too little? I try to eat my exercise calories most of the time. I need all over fat loss, really. But, i would also like to build lean muscle.
Do I need to work out more? Less? Eat more? Eat less?
Thanks for the help!!!

Weight loss is 80% diet. 1200 calories is fine, don't worry about the starvation mode garbage MFP will give you. That is there as a liability remover. You don't need to eat all your calories back as oftentimes the calories burned will be overestimated. Building muscle at a deficit isn't really easy to do, and you can't spot reduce fat. To cut the last 10 pounds, just stick with what your doing for a few months. If you arent losing anymore, try upping calories for a week and then going back down, or switching up your macros to get more fats/protein versus carbs. Personally I try to go 33/33/33 c/f/p.
