Hello everyone,
I need some help on an issue. I have lost alot of weight, but when I take my shirt off my body almost looks nice except for the back fat! it's not alot at all but i want the 6 pack fit look and it wont go away! I've lost fat from everywhere but it wont go away on my back. I'd say its probably 1-2 pounds of fat. anyone recommend any exercises to get rid of these?

hi
the only way I know of that you can spot reduce is by liposuction, you're just going to have to keep doing what you've been doing. It will eventually come off if you keep losing weight, if you haven't been lifting weights you can do that or increase if you have already been lifting.
good luck!0 -

pretty much what i was going to say0 -
You say it's about 1-2 lbs of fat back there. Your ticker says you have about 8 lbs left to lose. I'd say just keep going, and it'll happen.
(Also, you can't spot-reduce fat, sadly.)0 -
I hope losing the rest will make it go away, when i reach my goal i will be a few pounds close to being underweight. I really hope it goes away0

You can not target for fat loss. You can only lose fat and it comes up based on genetics.
Is it very stubborn? Look into intermittent fasting and reduced carb intake.0 -
When I started doing rowing exercises with dumbbells, my back started looking a lot smoother and more muscular0

Honestly, I have ALWAYS had back fat. What has finally worked for me was a mix of cardio, and then heavy weightlifting. My back is FINALLY toning.
I used to do tons of cardio, but my back would never tone. I'd lose weight, but it was always flabby. This time around, I've really focused on doing 2 days per week of heavy arm/shoulders/back exercises, and for the FIRST time in my life, I can finally wear a backless dress without rolls, and my back looks lovely.
A good exercise for the back toning is this: put a dumbell in both hands, then bring your elbows into your sides with your arms at a 90 degree angle straight in front of your body. Keeping your elbows locked at your side so they do not move, rotate your arms so that they are pointing straight out on either side of your body, hold, then rotate them back to the center. If using a light weight, do 20 reps, rest for 30 second to 1 minute, then repeat 3 times. You should feel it in your back.0 -
Building muscle doesn't solve the fat problem. It only helps with shape.
Look into losing the fat.0 -

Just keep working on getting the 6 pack and ignore it. You'll start dropping that about the same time your abs start showing. Mine's the same way although it's not noticeable because my obliques stand out more that this spot and I'm working on lats which makes the waist look smaller than it is. It's actually the most common boss battle for men in dropping fat.0
