What have been the biggest changes to your kitchen since you started using MFP?
Mine is the constant use of measuring cups/spoons. I am on a 24/7 rotation of using and washing my measuring tools!

just the fact that I USE my kitchen now is the biggest change. Before MFP we ate out ALOT and thats being nice lol
but also
measuring cups / spoons

real dishes lol
New set of PD pots and pans
majic bullet
extra virgin olive oil
protein powder
and all the fresh produce / meats0 -
Oh yes- I always cooked at home a lot, but we have cut the eating out way down. It's just to hard to recover from restaurant food in terms of salt, fat, calories, etc. It's more of a special occasion thing now. Same with having drinks ;P0

There's SO much fruit, and SO much variety! Seriously, before MFP, me and my family were the "grab and go" families you so often see around - crisps, chocolate, takeaway, leftovers, full fat creams and yoghurts, white bread, sugary cereals - you name it! Now that's all gone with fruit, fibre cereal, wheats, natural yoghurts, crackers, oats, vegetables and lean meats in their place. And I love it.0

Like you, the measuring cups/spoons, and food scale.0

There are no "diet" foods like diet yogurts or WW biscuits. I don't eat artificial sweetener anymore either.
It works.0 -
For me, it's all the fresh food on the counters. Onions, garlic, tomatoes, all sitting out ready to be used in cooking.0

This. I ate fast food about twice a day before, mainly because I live alone so cooking meals is not something that I did very often. I still don't cook much but I eat tons of sandwiches and vegetables.0 -
Me too! I keep the fresh stuff very visible so I go for that first.0
-
For me it's having no biscuits in the cupboard (and I don't mean because I'd eaten them all!). We always ate well, it was just all the extras I snuck on top which swelled me up.0

A Food Scale sitting on the counter.0

My biggest thing is less junk food. Or at least if I get some chips or cookies, I try to go with the best option possible. I also do a better job with "measuring". I don't really measure everything perfectly, but I actually look at the serving size and try to get close to that.0

Food scale and lots of tubberware0

I'm in it more.0

NO junk food (that I like) Still have some because my Husband refuses to go without it lol. So, I buy stuff he likes, that I don't, like anything with coconut, eww. Also low calorie snacks in the cabinet, water, water, water, food scale, fresh veggies. And I read the label on everything now, checking serving size, so on and so on.0

measuring spoons/cups are all over the sink, food scale is in constant use and massive amounts of fruit and lettuce in the fridge (need to jump on the veggie train)0
-
Cabinet space. I gave away all my rice, pasta, canned soup, bread crumbs, cereal and cookies.0

No empty calorie foods.0

My fridge and pantry are overloaded with food choices that are healthy and fun.
My spices have multiplied A LOT. I own at least 50 or more now.
I have acquired a lot of glassware for storing things because we take our lunches to work.
The microwave was neglected. We've been living in an apartment without one for 6 months now and could car less. I might get one though because it's great for heating left overs.
I go through all the cooking supplies quite a bit as well. Never caught up it seems.
I cook every meal now instead of once an night or few times a week.
And meals are much more filling, with more ingredients that are basic and from scratch.0 -
Its getting used a lot more! Harder to keep clean! Its a teeny tiny kitchen (its basically a hallway).
I used to make simple, very basic meals. But now I'm making more involved meals w/ many, many ingredients.
And yes, constant use of measuring spoons/cups and pulling the food scale out constantly.
My electric bill has got to go up from the constant washing of dishes I'm doing!0 -
Cutting boards are always getting used. I've also started thinking about expensive knives, too.0

My whole kitchen is transformed.
We were loaded down with every form of processed food under the sun.
Today, it mostly whole foods.
And that's lean meats, low fat dairy, nuts, whole grains, fresh fruits and veggies.
If man makes it, don't eat it. Processed foods have been demineralized and loaded with salt, sugar and fat.
We eat clean about 75% of the time.0 -
