My "Lightbulb"

There were many reasons why I started this lifestyle change on Feb 15th of this year (health, to feel better, to be a better role model for my kids. . . ).
But the main reason that was the "lightbulb" for me was because I had come to a place where I realized I had done so much growth as a person and in working on my heart and mind. I knew that the inside of me was beautiful . . . the inside of me I was proud of. Then it hit me, I had worked so hard on the inside of me, and the outside of me didn't reflect that at all. I didn't take care of the outside of me. I was disciplined in my character, but had no discipline when it came to my health.
So, that became a new goal, a new determination . . . I want my outer body to be a reflection of my inner perception.
What is your "lightbulb" that started you on your healthy lifestyle journey?

For my whole life, I had always been an athlete in some capacity. In the last 18 months, my fitness and mental health had plummeted, after a major injury and lifestyle changes. One day I realized that the athlete was still inside of me, and I needed to re-gain that identity... it was all the motivation I needed to bring my TRUE self back out into the open.
No matter how old I am, I can always be an athlete in some capacity. I will always be in "training mode," and I'll always be eating healthy food that fuels my training. Win, win, WIN.0 -
For my health and realizing that the rate I'm going I might not out last my parents and didn't want to put them through that0
