Sexy for Valentine's (wink wink)

Sooo.. a roomate and I were pilfering through LaSenza today, and as always, the underwear was ADORABLE, and it looked AMAZING on all of the models in the posters, and as badly as I wanted it, I knew I just feel bad about spending the money, because I don't need more regular underwear, and I kind of think of lingerie as more of a treat.
So here's my goal, and my promise to myself. I will be under 130lbs by Valentines day. (about 16-17 to lose)
I will also start taking better care of my skin, (drinking more water, cutting out excess sugar and grease)
If I can do this, I'm going to get a spray tan (I've always wanted one, just a light one, they supposedly do a stellar job of covering stretch marks) and treat myself to a 100$ shopping spree at LaSenza.
(who knows, maybe my boyfriend will even chip in a few bucks when I tell him what it's for =p)
Anybody else in? Let's reward ourselves, we deserve it

I want to be about 140 by Valentine's Day. I was down to 140 already a few months ago, but long story short, I put it back on. :grumble:

I am in too! Today is me 1 year wedding anniversary! I am 1 lb heavier than in my wedding but not too bad! I gained 6 but caught myself before it go too high and have started loosing!
I may need some push around the holidays ladies!

I'm up for the challenge. I would like to be down to 140 by V-Day. I haven't had the confidence to wear anything sexy since mid-June before my job got stressful and I let the excercise and diet go. I need to lose about 27 pounds to make it, but I think I can do it.
So far this week I am down 7 pounds and I didnt go over my calories on Turkey day so I'm feeling strong.0 -
well, i weighed in this morning, so my SW will be 147.6, so seeing as it is about 11 weeks till valentines my goal weight will be 137lbs0

That's awesome everyone! I don't have a scale, but last time I was home I weighed about 147, and my clothes have gotten a little looser since. I'm hoping to get a little spare cash for Christmas, and then MAYBE I'll buy a scale, but not having one around has really helped me keep on track, because I can't get upset about a little sodium bloat or "that time of month" or whatever lol.
What's everyone planning on doing? Like exercise+deficit wise?0 -
My starting weight is 152.6 (as of my last weigh in).
My goal by Valentine's day is 140.
I'm about 5'7" tall. I eat 1450 calories a day, and more if I earn exercise calories. I run 3 days a week and burn anywhere from 275 to 500 calories, but I'm increasing my distance (and calories burned) every day! I also need to start doing more strength training- abs, arms, and back work.
Will we have challenges, or just check in? Just curious, that's all0 -

I am 30 in central Alabama I am 5 ft 8 in and currently weigh 160, I am hoping to be around 145-150 for valentine's day. I think weekly challanges would be a great idea. Just let me know :drinker:0 -
OK today is my weigh in day and I have not changed,but I can feel my body changing. Does anyone have any ideas for this weeks challange. How about 30 minutes 5 times this week for a workout challange. Any workout you want to do for a minumum of 30 minutes at least 5 times this week.0

Just a little over 8 weeks till Valentines Day. Down 1.6lbs only 8.4 to go. I am going home tomorrow for two weeks so I hope it won't be to bad. Everything is always so yummy at Christmas. Keep up all the hard work everyone and have a wonderful Christmas.

How is everyone doing. I weighed in at 184 so that's 3lbs lost! Just 11 more till valentines.
Just a general question but how many calories do most of you consume and burn each day.
I've notice my weight loss is slow, so I'm curious to get it going.0 -
My cals are set to 1200. But I try to workout so I can have 1300-1400. My weight loss has been slow recently, I'm getting myself back into a groove after the holidays.0

Hey, this thread's gotten quiet! How is everyone? I weighed in on Sunday at 184.5...which means 1.5 pounds to go to meet my Valentine's goal of 183!!! :drinker: :bigsmile:
In answer to the calorie question above, I'm at 1400. I average 1200-1300 on non-workout days. Depending on my workout, I burn 300-500 cals on a workout day. I usually eat most of those calories. I try to stay 100-200 calories below my goal on a given day, just in case I've measured something wrong, or nibbled something during the day that I forgot about.0
