difference between circuit training and aerobics??

anyone know the difference between circuit training and aerobics? I'm not sure what I am doing or how to chart it.

Circuit training is generally strength training exercises performed back to back to back (in a circuit) without rest. Sometimes you may alternate strength with cardio. So it can be be bench/leg press/shoulders/back/etc or bench/jumping jacks/shoulders/run in place/ab machine/floor sprints.
Aerobics is generally non strength continuous movements to keep your heart rate up for X number of minutes. And adding 3 lb dumbbells doesn't turn it into a circuit.
When in doubt, log the lessor of the two calories.0 -
aerobics is cardio and not always with weights. circuit training is more strength training0
