I would LOVE some recipes that have "greek" yogurt as an ingredient. We're not picky here and I'd love to start whipping up some new things. Thank you in advance for anyone who is willing to share some recipes. (Breakfast, lunch, supper, smoothie - you name it... I will take it)

I have used Greek yogurt for a lot of things- perfect on potatoes (like sour cream) on salads, i used it instead of oil in some chocolate cookies i made and they were amazing!

So I hear you can replace butter in a recipe with greek yogurt for fat-free and protein rich baking.

We LOVE greek yogurt in our house!

Use the plain in place of sour cream in everything, use the vanilla in place of buttermilk, milk, cream in any recipe. Or just have the vanilla with some fresh berries as a snack!

My fave is the green monster smoothie adapted from www.skinnytaste.com: 1/2 cup vanilla greek yogurt, 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 TBS natural peanut butter, 1 TBS ground flax, 1 sliced frozen banana, and 2-3 handfuls of raw baby spinach. Blend until smooth, and enjoy! Fills me up until lunch, yum!

I add half a package of sugar free cheesecake Jello mix, 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder, and mix in some berries and it tastes like berry cheesecake! I've also added some chocolate chips, fruit preserves, or graham crackers before. It's somewhat high in calories, but it's also really high in protein and tastes like dessert.

    cucumber salad:

sliced thin cucumbers, ff greek yogurt, garlic, dill, lemon juice. Kinda like tsatsiki, but in salad form.

(works great on the side with some grilled lean ground turkey patties, seasoned greek style)

    Ranch veggie/chip dip.

    Plain Greek yogurt.
I/2 packet (or to your taste) Ranch seasoning.

    Viola!

We do taco seasoning sometimes too. Good for Taco(salad) night.

    :)

Use it when you bake! It can replace butter & milk so it can really ease the guilt of eating some current favorites.

Use it in place of sour cream to top burritos, tacos, enchiladas, etc.
You can also use it as a mayo substitute and mix it with tuna for salads and sandwiches.

I love to eat it this way:

    -8 oz Greek yogurt (plain)
    -1 tablespoon honey mixed in
-cinnamon to taste (calorie-free natural sweetness!)
    -1/2 cup blueberries/blackberries/strawberries

I have that pretty much every morning at work during one of my breaks now. :drinker:
