Awww man, this shop is soooo bad for me!

OK, people in the UK may be familiar with Mr Simms' Olde Sweet Shoppes. Basically, sweet shops that weigh things out in jars etc.

Well, they have a US Imports section and oh my, if I go in, it's a "Kiss the Calorie Goal Goodbye" day! Pretzel M&Ms, Reese's, Hershey bars, there are so many things in that section that I love! Everything else in the shop I can take or leave, but that import section is a real killer! Oh, and mountain Dew too...

So anyway, I am, as of right now, simply not going in there any more. It's just too much temptation and I don't trust myself.

It's for the best, isn't it?

You should try living in the the good ole USA. Everything you just said, but about a million other calorie laden foods each way you turn! It's no wonder we have such an obesity epidemic! I'd stay out of there too! I have to stay out of a lot of places here. Good luck!

So true! It is everywhere! I would stay away unless you can turn away from the temptation. It is hard! Buena Suerte!

Imagine how hard it is for us Americans that section is in every grocery and convenience store in the check out isle not just a small import section. LOL

Hershey's and commercial brands... Yes. But there's some really amazing chocolate made here too. You just probably won't find it outside of the US.

If you cannot resist the temptation to overindulge, then yeah it's for the best. Or you could get a very small amount of the things you like best, maybe once every few weeks. Then you can still enjoy it but not gorge yourself

just go in when you want to indulge
    you can still do that
or get somebody to get you a specific sweet?
