A couple of restaurant queries!

How do you log food when eating out at restaurants? Today I went out for lunch and chose a pea and goats cheese frittata as it seemed the best option on the menu as everything else had fries. I searched the database and logged the closest thing I could find to it. But obviously this would not be accurate which concerns me a bit!
Another query, I am going to a spanish tapas restaurant tomorrow night. Would I be better off ordering tapas to share or having a paella? This is the restaurant: http://www.latascakitchen.co.uk/menus
Thanks in advance guys!

What I do prior to going out to a restaurant is Google the restaurant's nutritional info. If it is no where to be found, I then break it down by the ingredients. For example, if I have a taco from Taco Bell, I key in: 1/4 cup taco meat, 1 hard tortilla shell, 1/4 cup lettuce, 1/4 cup diced tomatoes, 1/4 cup shredded cheddar, Taco bell seasoning. See what I mean?
And as far as your second question, I would go with this. It seems the healthiest:
PAELLA VERDURAS
A vegetarian paella, with fresh seasonal vegetables and white wine, lemon wedges, char-grilled aubergine and peppers.0 -
We eat out pretty frequently. We have scoured the nutrition information on many chains. We can eat several items at Ruby Tuesday, and also Bob Evens, IHOP (yes they have some good options), even Outback offers a reasonable salmon dinner. When we go to a local, non-chain, restaurant we can usually find something similar and estimate from there. The calories posted for any food item is an average, not exact.0

Outback's 6 ounce sirloin, steamed broccoli and a salad with tangy tomato dressing is less than 600 calories.0
