Supplements, vitamins and such

Hey All
I'm a newbie here and I'm wondering if anyone takes a multivitamin or other supplements and have you noticed a considerable help with weight loss? A coworker of mine, (who thinks she knows everything about everything) drinks safflower oil (she saw it on Dr OZ) before her breakfast and she says it aids in fat burning with no side effects.
Anyway, I'd like to hear your thoughts/experience on the subject.

I am starting on a B12 vitamin and fish oil because my doctor recommended it to me. I also take a vitamin C during the school year because I am a teacher and it really helps with my immune system. Feel free to add me and I will let you know if it helps me or not!

I do take a multivitamin, but might stop soon bc I'm reaching my vitamin needs with my diet now. As for the oil.... Idk whether it's true or not, I have no desire to drink oil to help me lose weight, but if she believes it and wants to keep doing it, I just hope she's counting the calories. (120/tbs I think)

I do not lean on supplements as a general rule and do not much trust these companies to deliver a quality product that matches the fancy label claims. If man makes it, don't eat it.
So, I am NOT real into supplements. Whole food nutrition is best - no argument there.
    OK, having said that.....
I like to keep handy Special K and Nature Valley Protein bars for a quick, relatively healthy snack when I am on the go.
I also take a daily vitamin pack, baby aspirin and fish oil to cover some bases and keep my yang up.
    And that's it.
Again, too many of these companies are either delivering junk, or they are half into these pyramid like MLM schemes to sucker people into the tar baby of supplement hell.
    Count me OUT!

I take a daily multivitamin and also a B12 supplement. Getting enough iron while lifting is always a problem for me. This combo gets me moving!

I don't go crazy with them. I drink Shakeology every day to get a day's worth of veggies, give me energy and regulate me and I take a regular multi vitamin and that's it. The Shakeology covers a lot of those supplements though and I just don't have the patience to take a bunch of pills every day lol

I have a slew of different vitamins (B12, Iron, Calcium, Vitamin C, Multi Vitamin and a few specialty ones) I check my food diary and see where I am lacking and take accordingly.
