Seltzer vs. Plain Water

I'm not really a water drinker. I find it boring to drink. However, I do drink it. I've been purchasing some plain seltzer water and have been drinking that along with plain water. Is it okay to drink seltzer every now and again instead of plain water? Seltzer just has a more interesting taste but I know too much can bloat you. Thoughts?

I love seltzer and own a soda stream so I can make it myself. It is the same as water as long as nothing has been added like sugar, flavoring, etc. Then you would need to log the calories. :drinker:0

I also have a SodaStream and it's great.
Plain water carbonated is just fine for you, the majority of the water I drink throughout the day is carbonated (through my SodaStream).0 -
It's just water with air added. It's the same thing - I usually drink more carbonated water myself.0

I'm pretty sure that air has no calories. Just make sure that the water doesn't have other undesirable additives along with the carbonation.

I'm not sure where you got your information that too much can bloat you - maybe you're thinking of soda water....?
I too own a soda stream and couldn't live without it. I drink 1-2 litres/day of carbonated water!0
