Which do I go by?
Should I go by what MFP suggest I eat (1530 cal) and eat back my exercise cals OR go by my BMR (2024) and not eat back what I work off??
If you need any other info, ask.
Or have another suggestion, I am all ears.

Whichever you prefer. There is no one right way. As long as you eat less than you burn, you lose weight.0

as long as you are logging your exercise to the best of your ability you should be following what MFP says. Once you log the exercise it will automatically adjust the amount of food you need to eat for the day0

My advice is see what works best for you. I've done both. I prefer to net my bmr because it is more than what MFP suggests for me and I've found it MUCH easier and still effective. Everyone is different. You may find the bmr/tdee way easier since it is a more gradual change.0

I went with MFP which worked for me.0

I think you should always eat your BMR. Once you eat your TDEE- exercise it should equal out to be at or above your BMR. On day where you burn more eat back up to your BMR. On days you dont burn as much dont worry about it as long as you ate your TDEE and are not under you BMR you will be fine.0

My understanding is that if you put everything in correctly when you set up your profile, MFP automatically takes 100 calories less than your BMR (what you need to eat to maintain your current weight) and sets this BRM-100 as your calories for the day. If you log your exercise, it will add more calories because you need to eat them in order to keep losing weight. I was trying really hard to be under calorie goal every day, but I did not start really losing weight and feeling energetic until I started eating back the exercise calories. Maybe this is just for me though. You should try it both ways for a few days and note how you feel so you can decide what makes YOUR body happy0
