i joined this last weeks and kind of guessed what weight i was until i could get weighed.... when i weighed myself a few days later i was like 5pound more than what i thought so i updated it but now it looks like i put on in the first few days...now today i weighed myself (today will be my weigh day) and i have lost 3pounds...but my fitness pal ticker thing doesnt show it because of the first weight i put in...how do i change that?

In the home tab under it click on check in and then go to edit previous entries and you should be able to either delete the old one and add a new weight for your starting weight....
ETA: At the top under check in you can just change your starting weight at the top....0 -
you can edit your past weight entries... change your original weight there and your weight loss will appear0

Go to your check in, scroll down, click 'edit previous entries' change the initial weight you had entered. Should do the trick. When I joined I had already lost several pounds and wanted to see the progress ticker bar you see at the bottom of my post reflect total pounds lost. So I edited previous entries to add the first few weeks of weigh-ins.
